Section 28 (7) of the Early Childhood Educators Act, 2007:
1. Direct the Registrar to issue a Certificate of Registration.
2. Direct the Registrar to issue the Certificate of Registration, and to make it subject it to specified terms, conditions or limitations.
3. Direct the Registrar to vary or remove specified terms, conditions or limitations in the Registrar’s proposal.
4. Direct the Registrar to refuse to issue a Certificate of Registration.
The Committee can also under Section 28(2) refuse to conduct a review, if they deem a request for review to be frivolous, vexatious or an abuse of process. On very rare occasions, the Committee will deny a request for review, if they find, based on the application, the review is groundless, lacking in substance and seriousness, there is no reasonable prospect of success in the appeal, and/or the request for a review is meant to annoy, harass, embarrass or abuse the Committee’s process.
